I was an android user that had quick pic and went to an iPhone and struggled for a bit with pictures because I can create albums on my iPhone, but they stayed in my recents and so I accumulated a massive amount of pictures. Every now and then I would go out and look for an app that would let me organize my pictures, but if it let me organize my pictures into folders, then it still wouldn’t take them out of my recent pictures. I hadn’t been out to look for a while, so did the Google search today on photo apps for iPhones in this came up as one of the best apps. Have to agree! I am so happy with this app. Not only can I create a folder for all my pictures, but it will actually let me remove the pictures from my recents folder on my iPhone. And I can also nest a folder or folders inside of a main folder, which is incredibly awesome. There is even the ability to rearrange photos by dragging them to a different location. And any photos that you delete will be in your recently deleted for 30 days if you decide you would like to recover any of them. For 8.99 a year you cannot go wrong with this app. And the 8.99 is after the initial storage they give you for free. I’m just so happy that I have finally found something that fits my needs.

Plays gifs and videos during the slideshow. The UI is very clean and easy to operate. Everything you need has easy access. Best photo album app ever.

This app is fantastic. Have been using it for several years and it saves all my vacation pics and shows them in a map. Backs up automatically too.

I love this app. It makes organizing all of my pics and videos so simple. If you’re looking for an easy to use photo album app, this is it!!

Used it for a couple of years, and was really great app. I even bought the upgrade. Last couple of updates have screwed up the settings buttons. It’s been that way for about a year with no fix. Why, not fix? To many apps in apples store take my money an run, no refund, no updates for them and apple just don’t care. I’ll be looking to throw my money away on yet another app to do what this one doesn’t any more. This app has my pics held for ransom! I’ve used this app since before it had a lot of reviews. It was so great, but has turned into greedy money hungry app, that won’t let me have my pics unless I get a subscription! I want my pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I am not paying to get them back!

Wish there was a zero rating. The app itself is good. I like that it uploads all photos and shows what is not uploaded. However it appears you can only backup to Dropbox, without which it will not sync on a new device. The only device the pictures show on is the original iPad I put it on when I installed it.

So I paid for this app and I didn’t realize I could only say 500 pictures. Let’s face it 500 pictures a months worth. It’s a great app to save pictures on my iPhone, as I can move them around in a specific photo album the way I want and I like it better than the way you save and organize pictures on the iPhone. But once I reach 500 photos, I could not save anymore and the developer wants $8.99 subscription yearly to increase it which I’m not even sure with the number is. Sorry I don’t do subscriptions and I’m not going to pay $8.99 for the rest of my life. I would’ve paid a one time payment $8.99 to increase my photos let’s say to 5000 but like I said, I’m not buying a subscription. I’m going to start looking elsewhere to save my photos. I save thousands of photos on Google photos, but I just like the organization for those photos that I really wanted to save and organize for reference.

It would be perfect if I could make unlimited tag categories/names. Also my tags that I created disappeared. I want to categorize my photos and tag what is in it.

Love! Love! Love! this program. I don’t think I could live without it; don’t want to try. I am a wildlife photographer. I edit my photos on the computer, select the best, crop them to a smaller size and copy to my iPad (12.9). The iOS Photos is totally incapable of doing the organization that I require, currently over 15,000 photos, but MyPics has more than fulfilled my desires. The editing tools are also great for further in app touch ups! I use several computer tools for enhanced sharpening but there is no better sharpener than the one in this app. I really like being able to create subdirectories. I would recommend this app to anyone who is serious about organization of photos! Just keeps getting better and better!

Love the app now - some glitches in functionality fixed and it’s so much better for organizing photos than iPhoto. DO NOT REMOVE the app to free-up space since it doesn’t restore pics and albums when you bring it back!

Only problem is when I try to upload pictures to facebook or any other social media platform MyPics don’t even show up only the Apple photos album

Wish you could choose multiple photos at one time to post to Instagram or Facebook

Need to get this app on my laptop, have pictures on my laptop I went to sort out also

I love this app thus far but I wish that we could allow Facebook to use this app rather than the basic photos app with iPhone. The entire reason I got this and the expert version was because can sort photos and move my photos to a different album for better sorting without creating a duplicate of the original and wasting data space because of duplicate photos. So because I cannot upload photos to Facebook posts from this app I still have to keep the Apple photo app now using 2 apps.

Is there a way to recover photos if your phone is broken and won’t power up.

When I bought it I was putting photos from my phone and it deleted all my photos from my phone and I could not get them back anymore

I’ve used this app since last year & still do now. But my only issue is that there’s no “recover photos” button. Like there’s a delete button but no recovery option? Cause what if we accidentally delete something then it’s basically gone forever.

Had the app for 5 years, it’s been great.

So far, not very impressive. Any photo is fine, it’ll load that within seconds, but it is somehow incapable of loading a 1 MINUTE AND 29 SECOND VIDEO, WHICH IS ABSURD. It then uses, “no space left on device,” as an excuse to not load it, which isn’t true because I know I have plenty of space on my iPhone. I will continue to hear this app out for a little while longer, but so far, underwhelming and unimpressive. EDIT: Yup, I’m done. Can’t load a 5 second video. Not my side. Their side. Don’t bye, it’s a terrible, effortless, and dysfunctional app. Just use Photos for god’s sake.

There are no tutorials for using this app anywhere. No video on YouTube. No info found via AI search. And NO HELP found when using the App! Thanks for wasting my time!

This app used to be ok for album management. And then the developers got greedy, the new update introduced ads to Pro subscriptions , as well as some vaguely defined limits. There is no way to batch export imported images so all my data is stuck in this garbage , and there’s no way to email help. Save yourself a lot of grief and avoid the app.

Use this app every day. Would like to have a similar app for my Windows 11 PC that would read the Dropbox files and display like this iPhone app. I’d pay extra for it.

I tried to use the app to organize pics into albums or folders. It basically wants me to select pics one by one OR pick existing album from photos. But I have over 8000 pics and 600 just from my last trip. Do you really expect me to tap each and every one of them? No search? Such as by location or time?

Used to be a great app, now you have to pay to store more photos and the worst part is their upgrade wiped all my photos I was storing in this app.

The app worked for a period, but now I can no longer delete albums. When I click on the action menu the only choice I have is to order photos within the album

This App is too complex for me! Can’t even figure how to get back to “camera roll.” Q&A/support: not even sure what they are talking about. This app might be fine for those advanced techie’s but not for this dummy. Deleting, moving on, hopefully. Two stars for seemingly reasonable purchase: but the developers didn’t intend this app for beginners.

I wanted to go to the source to get information because this app crashed on the second day I used it. I want a refund. Had to ask this way since I don’t read Japanese and that seems to be the only option

I like this organizer. Easy to make albums and put pictures into them. I especially like that the pictures are there permanently even if you delete them from your iPhone/ipad Photo App. My only complaint is that you can only back it up to Dropbox and it’s paltry 2.5 gb free option. It would be great to have other back up options.

That simple pretty irritating to just lose all those photos and the app has nothing to help me get them back. Writing this review less as a real review and more hoping a developer or something can help get my photos back

I have always liked this app (5stars), however I had to come back and update my written review. Version 7 simply ROCKS! The new photo and video editing is a great new feature. The editing is easy to use and has many different options to improve the image quality. There is no other app that compares with MyPics. If there is one other feature that I would suggest for the Expert version that would be to have a duplicate photo remover. Thank you devs for keeping the application affordable and updated. Five Stars!!!

The application is great in particular for those who do not like Apple’s concept of photo albums. I have moved many of my photos to MyPics. To me, the big flaw is that you cannot hide certain pictures or albums. The app itself can be locked, but once opened- everything is accessible. The feature of hiding albums would be welcome.

After using this app for several years … my photos will no longer upload into an album ….

I DO like this app, purchased the upgrade, and rely on it. But extended photo editing sessions WILL result in the app crashing at regular intervals (maybe every 6th or 7th editing activity). I’ve never lost any data or had any photos corrupted or even lost any editing changes; I just had to close the app and re-initiate it (sometimes the crash is just a freeze; other times it crashes all the way to the home screen). I also wish there was a way to move photos around between albums in batches instead of one at a time. (Photos can be imported in batches, once they’ve been placed in an album, I don’t see any way to “batch move” them to a different album.)

Best App ever!! I have my own organized folders where I can find the one I’m looking for!! I loveeeeee it!!❤️Best photo storage App 👍🙌 so many pics it lets you save!! And even organize the folder itself you can move the pictures in order!! I love this App!♥️🥰♥️

It won’t work for me whenever I try to import photos it doesn’t show anything I even redownlouded it I don’t know what’s happening but I’m on a iPhone 7+ and I tried on a diff device And it worked I don’t understand like what’s wrong with a iPhone 7+ 😡😢😭

I did llike it until my iPad crashed and then when restored my iPad I did not get MyPics albumins and photos back again. How do I get my username, password and photos back. HELP!! Anyone? So frustrating!! James

Have been using this app for years. I especially liked the ability to blur portions of a photo such as the background under the edit function. That, it seems, is no longer an option. Forget about their web site- it’s not in English. Impossible to get help.

I find it absolutely incomprehensible how Apple would not have included all of the functionality of this app in every one of their iPads that’s just crazy… ! But MyPics fills this gap absolutely wonderfully… But I do have one Tiny Reservation; And that is— Whenever I’m moving something from my laptop into my iPad, My pics creates a special folder to receive these items ( after I’ve moved them from my iPhoto into MyPics ) and then it’s it seems _a little bit_ too complicated to delete this folder; Granted— it’s pretty easy, but it requires two or three steps, and I think it would be nicer if there weren’t any steps, if I were somehow able to receive items from -wherever- directly to a Temporary Area or Directly to my desired collection, that would eliminate The steps that I have to delete that folder, which is now empty, and consequently constitutes, an eyesore ! Thanx !
